Another Police-State, Totalitarian “Notch” for the Shadow Government – The Power to Assassinate American Citizens Abroad is Seized In Plain View

The individual’s right to freely question and freely dissent is already becoming endangered as it is. 9/11 “Truthers” and “Birthers” are increasingly vilified and painted as “dangerous” by mainstream media and the talking-head puppets of the CIA and Pentagon. Now, with the CIA incrementally showing its hand, the “Shadow Government” has fundamentally asserted a constitutionally-prohibited power, and has done so “in-your-face” to our congressional representatives. This has opened the door for further deconstruction of our Republic by encouraging the construction of a pretext of conscientious, questioning, peace-loving American citizens potentially being regarded as dangerous extremists. George W. Obama – After his first year, Obama shows his true face

Before President Obama, it was grimly accurate to write, as I often did in the Voice, that George W. Bush came into the presidency with no discernible background in constitutional civil liberties or any acquaintance with the Constitution itself. Accordingly, he turned the “war on terror” over to Dick Cheney and Donald Rumsfeld—ardent believers that the Constitution presents grave obstacles in a time of global jihad. But now, Bush’s successor—who actually taught constitutional law at the University of Chicago—is continuing much of the Bush-Cheney parallel government and, in some cases, is going much further in disregarding our laws and the international treaties we’ve signed. Obama Persuades the Supreme Court to Allow Torture and Slavery

After hearing passionate arguments from the Obama Administration, the Supreme Court acquiesced to the president’s fervent request and, in a one-line ruling, let stand a lower court decision that declared torture an ordinary, expected consequence of military detention, while introducing a shocking new precedent for all future courts to follow: anyone who is arbitrarily declared a “suspected enemy combatant” by the president or his designated minions is no longer a “person.” They will simply cease to exist as a legal entity. They will have no inherent rights, no human rights, no legal standing whatsoever — save whatever modicum of process the government arbitrarily deigns to grant them from time to time, with its ever-shifting tribunals and show trials. Women and Children Were Raped At Abu Ghraib – CONFIRMED

White House spokesman Gibbs lamely attempted to deny the confirmed statements and the document, “Abu Ghraib: Male Rape Witness Statement from Taguba Report” that in no uncertain terms describes the rape and torture of women and children. Gibbs ridiculously attempted to maintain that any photos not released to the public do not depict the described acts. Dubbuya Bush must be tried for war crimes. Continue reading

New confirmation: Obama threatened U.K. to conceal torture

New documentation has come to light that confirms in no uncertain terms that the Obama administration has browbeat the U.K. into concealing evidence of torture, breaking international law. Moreover, as the U.K. has capitulated, the appearance is now that of collusion on the part of the U.K. in the concealment of that evidence to benefit itself as well. Continue reading
